Eric Allan

Eric Allan is a director of photography, producer, writer, actor, and editor with a decade of filmmaking experience in advertisements, narratives, and music videos. He is the co-writer of six award-winning short films, including The Eye, The Breadwinner, Paved, Twig, Note to Self, winner of six awards at the 48 Hour Film Project Des Moines (2018); and One Million XP. In 2021 he worked a camera operator on TubeLords, a half hour comedy television pilot which won a $50,000 grant from the Iowa Arts Council. In 2022 he worked as a director of photography on the Elison music video, “Hopes + Horoscopes” and In Lukewarm Blood, an interactive film-based video game.
