This minimalist, modern web site is one of our more deceptively powerful creations. It allows people to find ethically made clothing companies and sort them using a multi-layered search. So if you want to find American made clothing, you can sort it by Made in the US/UK, as well as the usual men's, women's, and kids departments.
Unwed Sailor v2.0
Indie rock band
Unwed Sailor is an instrumental ambient rock band from Seattle, Washington, led by Johnathon Ford (Pedro the Lion, Roadside Monument). They’re also one of Shrieking Tree’s earliest clients. I developed the previous version of this web site in 2004, and now, more than a decade later, I’ve redesigned it to coincide with the release of their new EP, Take a Minute. I love this band, and the web site holds a lot of great memories for me.
Witness Against Torture v2.0
Human rights organization
When I built the original Witness Against Torture site in 2009, the bulk of the content was text, with very little photo or video content to speak of. As the group grew over the next six years, that changed dramatically. The new site now neatly organizes over one hundred videos and thousands of photographs from protests around the globe, while retaining all of the text content from the previous site.
Indie folk-electronica band
One of our earliest and most massive web sites was a collaboration with Nick Zammuto and Paul de Jong, the founding members of electronic-folk group, The Books. The web site was designed to match the band’s collage-style music, incorporating dozens of interactive, animated pages, unpredictable exploratory environments, and, of course, easy access to tour dates, news updates, and merchandise.
