Note to Self – Best of City Trailer

This is the second trailer I edited for our short film, Note to Self, which we made in collaboration with DEFT. In it, a man makes a desperate attempt to fix his life by sending a message to his former self. I created this trailer to add the Audience Choice award we won and to promote the film’s screening as part of the 2018 Best of City selections. The film went on to win five more awards, including Best Directing, Best Acting, and Best Editing.

This film was made for the 48 Hour Film Project 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa. Our assigned genre was Time Travel, the required character was a chef named Michael, the required dialogue was “Why am I always last?”, and the required prop was earbuds.
