In a collaboration with Iowa Filmmakers, we’ve produced several web commercials for Northwest Iowa Development, writing, directing, acting, and editing original material to make award-winning ads that are both informative and comical. Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage
NON-PROFIT WEB SPOT
We traveled to Nigeria for this short web spot, where we wrote, directed, and edited this web spot for Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage. The story is pretty inspiring – the orphanage’s founder, Eric Idehen grew up there, then moved to Iowa and donated his old home to be converted into a place for abandoned children. The organization used our video to help show existing donors the work being done with their funds, and to encourage new donors to invest via social media and live events.
Land Beyond Expectations: Work

In this sequel to our initial short narrative ad for Northwest Iowa Development, we catch up with our protagonist as he adapts to life with his new job in Iowa. As with the original, I composed the music, co-directed, and co-shot the web spot with Paul David Benedict and Eric Allan, who starred in it. It was released in conjunction with another ad that focuses on improvements to the main character’s family life in Iowa.
